Award Triumph for "Section F Ka Only Boy"
Writer‑director Sonya V. Kapoor was honoured with the Best Series Director and Best Writer awards at the 2026 e4m Play Streaming Media Awards. In the same ceremony, the JioHotstar original series Section F Ka Only Boy secured the Best Series award, delivering a triple win for the project. The series was created, written and directed by Kapoor and produced by M5 Entertainment in partnership with JioHotstar, underscoring the studio’s focus on original intellectual property for digital platforms.
Kapoor, who is also the Founder of M5 Entertainment, emphasized that the series began with the belief that authentic characters and emotionally engaging stories forge lasting audience connections, and she described the dual recognition for writing and directing as a meaningful validation of the creative journey from concept through execution.
