The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment showcased the success of Thrishanku Technologies Private Limited, a Bengaluru-based electronics manufacturer that received ₹4.47 crore in financial assistance through the Venture Capital Fund for Scheduled Castes (VCF-SC) in 2022. The funding comprised venture capital assistance through equity and optionally convertible debentures, enabling the company to establish a state-of-the-art electronics design and manufacturing facility at the KIADB Hi-Tech Defence & Aerospace Park.
The company specializes in printed circuit boards (PCBs), radar systems, and EDGE AI devices, providing advanced electronic manufacturing services to major organizations including Larsen & Toubro, Bharat Electronics Ltd, DRDO laboratories, Electronics Corporation of India Ltd, Astra Microwave Products Ltd, Capgemini, Wipro, and Cypress. The financial support facilitated procurement of advanced machinery, testing instruments, and software tools, strengthening capabilities in radar systems and EDGE AI product development.
The intervention has generated significant impact with the enterprise creating direct employment for 30 professionals, including 8 Scheduled Caste employees and 22 non-Scheduled Caste employees. The company has created assets worth ₹7 crore, achieved a net worth of ₹3.92 crore, generated revenue of ₹2.85 crore, and recorded a profit of approximately ₹4 lakh. Company director Suneel Kumar Sirigiri stated that the concessional finance enabled transformation of a technology-driven vision into a world-class electronics manufacturing enterprise contributing to India's defence and aerospace ecosystem under the 'Make in India' initiative.
