President Donald Trump announced on social media that Iran will surrender its enriched uranium stockpile and fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian lawmaker Mahmoud Nabavian contradicted the claim, saying the strait will remain subject to Iranian tolls and not fully open.
U.S. officials reportedly offered access to $20 billion of frozen Iranian funds for uranium concessions, which Trump later denied in an interview.
Delegation led by JD Vance, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner may resume talks amid a 10‑day Israel‑Lebanon ceasefire and a U.S.–Iran truce.
