The Twimbit Telecom Summit & Awards 2026 concluded on June 17, 2026 at Singapore’s Capitol Theatre, bringing together senior telecom operators, technology leaders, policymakers, investors and ecosystem partners from across the Asia‑Pacific region. The event was organized by Twimbit, a global research and advisory firm, and was simultaneously announced from Mumbai, India.

The summit centered on the transition of telecom operators into AI‑native digital platforms. Key thematic tracks included AI‑native operations, enterprise AI monetisation, digital sovereignty, infrastructure transformation, customer‑experience reinvention and leadership transformation. Sessions comprised keynote presentations, executive panels and round‑table discussions that examined structural shifts reshaping the telecom sector and the operating models required for the next decade.

Speakers and Leadership Perspectives

Prominent industry voices featured in the programme were Manoj Kohli, Vikram Sinha, Vikram Rao, Juhi McClelland, Ulf Ewaldsson, Rajesh Chandiramani, Anna Yip and Wong Soon Nam. Their perspectives highlighted the strategic importance of AI, the need for sovereign digital infrastructure and the evolving role of telecom in broader digital economies.

Awards Ceremony

The evening culminated in the Twimbit Telecom Awards 2026, which recognised operators, leaders and innovators across categories such as AI transformation, customer experience, enterprise business, ESG, network modernisation, financial performance and digital infrastructure. Award winners included Singtel, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Globe, Taiwan Mobile and Digital Realty. Manoj Kohli received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to the telecom industry.

Fundraising and Sponsorship

The awards ceremony partnered with the Goh Chok Tong Enable Fund (GCTEF). Contributions and pledges made during the event raised over SGD 15,000 to support opportunities, aspirations and inclusion for persons with disabilities in Singapore. The summit was supported by founding partner F5 and gold sponsor Comviva.
