Union Health Minister Presents India's AI Healthcare Strategy at WHA

Union Health Minister J P Nadda presented India's Strategy for AI in Healthcare (SAHI) at the 79th World Health Assembly in Geneva.
SAHI is described as the first comprehensive AI healthcare strategy from the Global South, focusing on ethical and equitable implementation.
India launched the Benchmarking Open Data Platform for Health AI (BODH) to ensure AI solutions perform safely across diverse populations.
The minister emphasized the need for sound regulation, ethical oversight, and international collaboration in health AI development.
