US Commerce Department announced preliminary antidumping duties on solar cells and panels from India, Indonesia, and Laos.
Preliminary duty rates are 123.04% for India, 35.17% for Indonesia, and 22.46% for Laos.
The three nations supplied $4.5 billion, about two‑thirds of U.S. solar imports in the prior year.
Alliance for American Solar Manufacturing and Trade, including First Solar and Hanwha’s Qcells, filed the petition.
