Indian Railways reported Vande Bharat Express served 3.98 crore passengers in FY 2025-26, a 34% YoY growth from 2.97 crore.
Since inception, the service has completed 1 lakh trips carrying over 9.1 crore passengers, with New Delhi-Varanasi being the busiest route at 73 lakh.
The newly introduced Vande Bharat Sleeper service achieved over 100% occupancy, carrying 1.21 lakh passengers in its first three months across 119 trips.
