Venture Capital Fund for Scheduled Tribes: 38 Applications, Rs 3.42 Cr Sanctioned

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs provided a Lok Sabha update on the Venture Capital Fund for Scheduled Tribes, detailing application and sanction data.
A total of 38 applications were processed across FY 2023-24 to 2025-26, with Rs 3.42 crore sanctioned to one beneficiary company.
The fund has a corpus of Rs 50 crore, with Rs 20 crore released and Rs 1.51 crore disbursed to date.
A proposal for fund expansion is under consideration by the Expenditure Finance Committee.
