Radhakrishnan will visit Tamil Nadu on September 21, 2026, to participate as the Chief Guest at the Centenary Conference of the UPASI Tea Research Foundation (UPASI TRF) in Coonoor, The Nilgiris. The UPASI TRF is described as the premier scientific research institution serving the tea industry of South India, with origins dating back to October 1926 when it was established as the Tea Experimental Station at Gudalur. The event marks the 100-year anniversary of the research foundation's establishment.
