Vice President of India Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan released the book 'RSS @100: A Century of Service, Unity & Sacrifice' authored by Shri Shyam Jaju and Shri Anupam Trivedi at Uprashtrapati Bhavan on July 17, 2026. The book commemorates the centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and documents its century-long journey focused on service, unity, and national consciousness. The Vice President described the RSS as being like the holy Ganga for its selfless welfare work and emphasized its role in reviving and reinforcing India's cultural roots, heritage, and traditions through character-building and leadership development in daily shakhas.
The event was attended by Union Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh, Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly Shri Vijender Gupta, President of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts Shri Ram Bahadur Rai, RSS Kshetra Sanghchalak Shri Pawan Jindal, the co-authors, and Managing Director of Prabhat Prakashan Shri Prabhat Kumar. The Vice President specifically referenced a chapter titled 'A Swayamsevak as PM: The Modi Era' that traces Prime Minister Narendra Modi's journey from a Swayamsevak to Pradhan Sevak, noting how he has placed 'Seva' and 'Nation First' at the center of governance.
