Vodafone Idea Shares Fall 5% After Denial

Vodafone Idea shares dropped ~5% to Rs 11.86 after the company denied rumors of a Vodafone Group stake transfer.
The clarification referenced a Dec 2023 CLAM disclosure involving recovery of about Rs 5,836 crore from 2017 merger liabilities.
Q3 FY26 revenue rose 1.85% YoY to Rs 11,323 crore, operating margin improved to 43%, and net loss fell 20% to Rs 5,286 crore.
The stock had surged 8% the previous day on Bloomberg speculation that a treasury stock transfer would boost the balance sheet.
