Wall Street Rises on Growth Stocks, Cooler PPI

U.S. equities rose Tuesday, S&P 500 up 1% to 6,955, Nasdaq up 1.6% to 23,553, Dow up 0.6% to 48,520.
March PPI rose 0.5% MoM and 4.0% YoY, missing forecasts of 1.1% and 4.6%; core PPI up 0.1% MoM, 3.8% YoY.
JPMorgan and Citi posted profit and revenue beats on trading gains; Wells Fargo missed revenue and interest‑income expectations, its stock fell 4.9%.
Oil prices fell, Brent down 3.8% to $95.59 and WTI 6.3% to $92.84 as optimism grew over a potential Middle East ceasefire.
