The 2nd edition of WAVES Doc Bazaar will be held from June 16 to 18, 2026.
The event will take place alongside the 19th Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF).

Entries are open for the Viewing Room and Work-in-Progress Lab.
Submission deadline for applications: May 15, 2026, by 11:59 PM IST.
The Viewing Room showcases recently completed or post-production documentary, short, and animation films.
The Work-In-Progress Lab is for documentary and animation films in the rough-cut stage.
A new Immersive Market segment is introduced for VR, AR, and XR content creators.
Eligibility: Open to documentary and animation films globally; short, mid-length, and feature-length films are eligible.
Films must be completed or in post-production with most shooting finished; projects in development or pre-production are not eligible.
Submission process requires a password-protected screener link; if selected, filmmakers must submit at least 10 minutes of footage.
The platform aims to connect filmmakers with buyers, programmers, distributors, and investors for distribution deals, co-productions, and finishing funds.
