WTI Midland crude differentials eased on Tuesday, 4 August 2026, as trading continued in the Platts window with limited cargo movement. Glencore sold a WTI Midland cargo scheduled for delivery 30 August‑3 September to Equinor at dated Brent + $5.50 on a cost, insurance and freight (CIF) basis to Rotterdam; on a free‑on‑board (FOB) basis this equated to dated Brent + $3.77. TotalEnergies submitted a bid for an August 16‑20 cargo at dated Brent + $5.80 CIF Rotterdam, while Glencore offered an August 25‑29 cargo at dated Brent + $5.25 CIF Rotterdam. On Monday, Equinor purchased an August 23‑27 cargo from Glencore at dated Brent + $5.95 CIF Rotterdam. In the North Sea market, Phillips 66 withdrew its bid for an Ekofisk cargo slated for 26‑28 August at dated Brent + $6.00. No other cargoes changed hands during the session.
