Zhejiang Unicorn Count Rises to 58

Zhejiang's unicorn count rose to 58 in April 2026, adding three new unicorns province‑wide.
Hangzhou hosts 48 unicorns (83% of provincial total), up from 44 last year, and added eight new unicorns on April 23.
New unicorn entrants include Hailiang Technology Services, Geener Microelectronics, Spirit AI, Geespace, Sunrise, Seepin, DEEP Robotics, covering semiconductors, robotics and aerospace.
Quasi‑unicorns total 413, with 118 in life sciences, 78 in next‑gen IT and 50 in AI/embodied intelligence, reflecting the “296X” industrial strategy.
