India's higher education landscape is undergoing significant transformation as the government actively pursues the internationalization goals outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Approvals have been granted to the University of Liverpool, University of Bristol, University of York, and University of New South Wales to establish campuses in Bengaluru and Mumbai, bringing the total approved foreign institutions to five. Simultaneously, the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment’s Top Class Education Scheme continues to support meritorious students from Scheduled Castes, facilitating access to premier institutions and securing high-value placements.
