Project Commissioning Update
ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its various subsidiaries, has operationalized approximately 3.62 GWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity across three project sites in Rajasthan. This represents one of the fastest scale-ups of BESS capacity in India.
In the current financial year till date (as of July 23, 2026), the company has cumulatively commissioned approximately 2.29 GWh of BESS capacity.
Technical Incident Update
Regarding the ACME Suryodaya BESS facility in Pokhran, Rajasthan, referenced in a media statement dated July 17, 2026:
- Root cause analysis confirmed the event originated from an electrical short circuit.
- The short circuit caused a localized fire of the AC cables between the Transformer and PCS (Power Conversion System).
- The fire resulted in equipment shutdown but did not damage other on-site equipment.
- The fire was quickly brought under control.
- Restoration activities have been successfully completed.
The company acknowledged the fast reaction of its on-site professional employees and technological support from partners during and after the incident.
