Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 20 gigawatts (GW) of operational renewable energy capacity, making it India's first and only renewable energy company to reach this level predominantly through greenfield development. This achievement was accomplished within a decade of commissioning AGEL's first renewable energy project at Kamuthi, Tamil Nadu, in 2016.
Operational Capacity Details
- Total operational renewable energy capacity: 20 GW
- Capacity breakdown: 14.2 GW solar, 2.7 GW wind, 3.3 GW wind-solar hybrid
