Coal India Wins ₹400 Crore BESS Contract from GRIDCO

Coal India Limited received a Letter of Award from GRIDCO Limited for setting up an 80 MW/320 MWh Battery Energy Storage System plant in Odisha.
The domestic contract has an estimated project cost of ₹400 Crore and an execution timeline of 18 months from signing the BESPA.
The order involves two clusters with fixed tariffs of ₹3.04 lakh/MW/month and ₹3.05 lakh/MW/month, and is not a related party transaction.
