Emirates NBD Bank (P.J.S.C) received Central Bank of UAE approval on March 24, 2026 for acquiring a majority stake in RBL Bank.
The approval also covers the proposed amalgamation of Emirates NBD's existing India operations into RBL Bank.
Both approvals remain subject to receipt of all other necessary regulatory approvals before completion.
