Kabra Extrusiontechnik Limited has successfully executed and commissioned a 10 MW / 20 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project through its GEON New Energy business division. The project is located in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan and was completed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis.

The project scope included detailed engineering and design, procurement and supply of equipment, installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The execution was carried out in accordance with the Rajasthan Integrated Clean Energy Policy, 2024.

The Battery Energy Storage System has been designed to support efficient energy management, grid stability, and effective integration of renewable energy. The system contributes toward building a more reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure.

This commissioning represents a significant milestone for the company and demonstrates GEON's capabilities in delivering utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects on a turnkey EPC basis. The project strengthens the company's position in the energy storage and renewable energy sector and underscores its commitment to supporting India's clean energy transition and grid modernization initiatives.
