Overview

LONGi Energy Storage used its presence at All Energy Australia 2026 in Melbourne to demonstrate a full‑stack portfolio covering utility‑scale, commercial‑and‑industrial (C&I), and microgrid applications, reinforcing its LONGi ONE strategy aimed at supporting Australia’s energy transition.

Solution Portfolio

  • OneMatrix Solution: Designed for utility‑scale projects, it offers flexible modular configurations with a duration range of 2 to 8 hours, incorporates the LONGiBank 3.0 platform, and provides cluster‑level independent management, AI‑driven battery health diagnostics, and intelligent operations & maintenance (O&M). The system holds TÜV Rheinland certifications under IEC 62619, IEC 63056, and an IEC/EN 60730‑1 Annex H report, confirming its safety for international markets.
  • Hi‑MO One Pro: Targeted at C&I customers, it delivers configurable 2‑ to 24‑hour storage for solar‑plus‑storage, peak‑valley arbitrage, and backup power. The product integrates LONGi’s proprietary iCCS and liquid‑cooling technology, enabling both grid‑connected and off‑grid operation to optimise energy costs and enhance power reliability.
  • OneNexus H2 and M5: Tailored for remote sites such as mining operations, these solutions coordinate solar generation, battery storage, and diesel generators to increase renewable utilisation, cut diesel dependence, and improve power resilience.

Project Experience

In Strathalbyn, South Australia, the Lunio Energy battery energy storage system (BESS) was commissioned to the grid in September 2026. The installation comprises four LONGiBank 2.0 units delivering a combined capacity of 5 MW and 20 MWh of storage. The BESS participates in the National Electricity Market (NEM), actively managing charge‑discharge cycles in response to demand fluctuations and market price signals.

Localised Service Expansion

Through its "2830 Plan," LONGi aims to establish 30 comprehensive local service centres worldwide by the end of 2028, enhancing localized design, delivery, and lifecycle support for its customers. The company emphasises that its full‑stack capabilities, diverse solution set, and expanding service network will enable continued collaboration with Australian customers and partners.

Outlook

LONGi Energy Storage reaffirmed its commitment to delivering flexible, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions across Australia, leveraging proprietary technologies, certified safety standards, and an expanding local service footprint to meet the growing demand for grid flexibility and renewable integration.
