PURE Energy Launches India's First All‑In‑One C&I BESS

PURE Energy Limited, an IIT Hyderabad‑incubated deep‑tech company, announced the launch of its new commercial‑industrial Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) under the PuREPower brand, designated PuREPower 120.0. The product is positioned as India’s first all‑in‑one integrated BESS for C&I applications, intended to replace diesel generators of 150 kVA and above.

The launch was unveiled at the BESS Workshop 2026 on 22 August 2026 at the Convention Centre, IIT Hyderabad, before an audience of more than 500 representatives from corporate, EPC and technology communities across India.

PuREPower 120.0 combines solar charging, advanced lithium‑ion storage, AI‑driven predictive battery management, cloud‑based remote monitoring, and Time‑of‑Day/Time‑of‑Use/DG‑sync capabilities in a single system, thereby eliminating the need for separate inverters, solar hybrid controllers, EMS/RMS and battery banks that typically increase installation complexity, space and cost.

Alongside the product launch, PURE Energy disclosed several patented technologies slated for integration by mid‑FY28, including advanced nano‑PCM cooling with convection cooling, high‑voltage 1000 V/1500 V R‑BMS/BMU, advanced solid‑state battery chemistry, and a Gallium Nitride‑based inverter topology aimed at data‑centre and medical BESS applications.

In remarks, Dr. Nishanth Dongari, Founder & Director, said the launch marks a significant step in bringing indigenous engineering to the commercial‑industrial energy storage space, addressing rising grid costs, diesel prices, unreliable supply and complex tariff structures. Founder & CEO Mr. Rohit Vadera added that new portals with predictive and cloud AI features will give network partners real‑time visibility, data alerts and rapid troubleshooting.

The workshop also featured sessions on the projected 470 GWh C&I BESS market size over the next six years, product architecture options (fixed vs flexible design, battery chemistry selection for Indian operating conditions), and a customer‑support strategy leveraging Generative AI.
