Board Meeting Outcomes
- Energy In Motion Limited (EIM), an associate company of Ravindra Energy Limited, has executed a Letter of Agreement with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) for supply partnership
- Agreement covers supply of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cells and battery pack kits to EIM in India
Strategic Actions
- CATL will supply 0.5 GWh (500 MWh) of LFP cells consisting of upgraded CB7T0 cell Model and L324D06 battery pack platform
- New cell and pack model for heavy commercial vehicles features significantly higher cycle life and volumetric density compared to previous CB230 model used by EIM
- Battery packs will be configured into 400.6 kWh systems for integration into EIM's E-Tractor 4x2 Ashwa series
- EIM will be the launch customer for this new generation of CATL battery systems in India
- EIM will fit these into swappable battery boxes customized for India's high ambient temperature operating conditions
Operational Highlights
- EIM is building an electric heavy commercial vehicle ecosystem including megawatt-scale charging/swapping stations across India
- Company launched its first electric heavy vehicle, Ashwa 55-ton e-tractor, on August 1st, 2025
- EIM has commissioned six heavy-duty swap stations in Delhi-NCR region and JNPA port area with daily swap capacity of 840 battery swaps per day
- EIM is targeting 40 operational heavy commercial vehicle swap cum charging stations by end of March 2027
