Press Release Overview

On 19 October 2026, REPLUS Engitech, a subsidiary of HEG Advanced Materials, announced its participation in The Battery Show India 2026, which will be held from 22 to 24 October at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida.

The company will display its industry‑leading energy storage systems (ESS), electric‑vehicle (EV) and hybrid solutions, highlighting its indigenous battery technology and advanced manufacturing capabilities. REPLUS also outlined a planned expansion of its domestic manufacturing capacity in India, aimed at satisfying anticipated demand and reinforcing local production of energy‑storage solutions. The expansion is intended to support REPLUS’s role as a technology and supply‑chain partner for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and to position India as a base for serving both domestic and global markets.

Managing Director and CEO Hiren Pravin Shah stated that India’s energy transition will require home‑grown technology and manufacturing that can meet long‑term demand, and that REPLUS is scaling its engineering and manufacturing capabilities with India as the hub for domestic and export markets, aligning with the broader vision of “Viksit Bharat.”

Chief Business Officer Suhas Sutar emphasized that the battery energy storage system (BESS) sector is being driven by commercial‑industrial (C&I) consumers who seek reliable, efficient storage to reduce energy costs, manage peak demand and improve power reliability. He added that AI‑driven advanced monitoring and predictive analytics can further enhance system performance, enabling informed energy‑consumption decisions and greater operational efficiency as renewable‑energy adoption accelerates.

Co‑Founder and COO Kaushik Tanti explained that EV, hybrid and stationary‑storage applications impose distinct battery requirements; consequently REPLUS focuses on battery design, thermal management and system integration to ensure safety and reliability under Indian operating conditions.

The exhibition, organised by Informa Markets India, serves as a strategic platform for manufacturers, technology providers, engineers and business leaders from the battery, EV and energy‑storage sectors, covering developments in battery technology, manufacturing, testing and recycling, and facilitating knowledge exchange and partnership opportunities.
