SPML Infra Secures ₹1,128 Crore NTPC BESS Project

SPML Infra won a ₹1,128 crore contract for a 1 GWh Battery Energy Storage System at NTPC's Barauni Thermal Power Station.
The project scope includes supply, civil works, and erection of 250 MW/1,000 MWh BESS with 18-month execution and 15-year O&M.
This marks SPML Infra's first large-scale grid BESS project, positioning energy storage as a core growth pillar.
The project will enable peak load management, grid stability, and renewable power integration for India's electricity grid.
