Overview

TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS), a UGC‑recognised Deemed‑to‑be University established by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), issued a press release on 20 July 2026 announcing a new Four‑Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) that embraces interdisciplinary learning and aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The university leverages over 25 years of experience in sustainability, higher education, and research to redesign undergraduate education for modern industry demands.

Programme Structure

The FYUP allows students to graduate with either an Honours degree or an Honours with Research degree. Selected programmes also incorporate an integrated Master's pathway, enabling a seamless transition to postgraduate studies. The curriculum is built around a Major‑Minor framework, giving students the flexibility to combine a primary discipline (Major) with a complementary secondary discipline (Minor).

Research‑Led Learning & Campus Life

Beyond classroom instruction, TERI SAS offers a research‑oriented environment where science, business, technology, economics, and sustainability intersect.
