Coupang Inc. reported second‑quarter 2026 results for the period ended 30 June. Adjusted earnings per share were a loss of $0.09, improving on the consensus estimate of a $0.21 loss, while the reported diluted EPS was a loss of $0.32, which reflects approximately $410 million of administrative fines levied in Korea. Revenue totaled $8.9 billion, representing a 4 % increase year‑on‑year on a reported basis and a 10 % rise on a constant‑currency basis, but fell short of analysts’ expectations of $9.07 billion.

Segment Performance

The Product Commerce segment generated $7.4 billion of revenue, up 1 % YoY on a reported basis and 8 % on a constant‑currency basis. The Developing Offerings segment posted $1.4 billion of revenue, expanding 20 % YoY and 24 % on a constant‑currency basis. Active customers in the Product Commerce segment grew to 24.7 million, a 3 % year‑on‑year increase.

Profitability and Cash Flow

Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $163 million, yielding an adjusted margin of 1.8 %, which is 318 basis points lower than the prior year. Operating cash flow for the trailing twelve months amounted to $1.4 billion, a decline of $484 million versus the previous year, and free cash flow was $105 million, down $679 million YoY.

Share Repurchase and Market Reaction

During the quarter the company repurchased 23.2 million Class A common shares for $459 million. Following the earnings release, Coupang’s shares fell 3 % in after‑hours trading.
