The Central Vigilance Commission commenced Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 on October 27, 2026, with an integrity pledge ceremony administered by Central Vigilance Commissioner Shri A. S. Rajeev and Vigilance Commissioner Shri Praveen Vashista to officers and staff at Satarkata Bhawan, New Delhi. The observance runs from October 26 to November 1, 2026, under the theme 'Probity for Prosperity' (सत्यनिष्ठा से समृद्धि).
The Commission has directed all Ministries, Departments, and Organizations of the Central Government to undertake a three-month preventive vigilance campaign from August 17 to November 16, 2026. This campaign focuses on five key areas: disposal of pending complaints, disposal of pending cases, capacity building programs, digital initiatives, and contract management, aiming to create meaningful impact on vigilance administration.
As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week activities, the Commission has organized a one-day workshop on the topic 'Transformation Through Technology' scheduled for October 30, 2026.
