The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) released its 46th monthly report on the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) for States and Union Territories, covering performance metrics for May 2026. The report provides detailed analysis of grievance types, categories, and disposal patterns across Indian states and UTs.
In May 2026, the CPGRAMS system received 85,900 public grievance cases for States/UTs and successfully redressed 84,365 cases. Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of disposals with 27,030 PG cases, followed by Maharashtra with 9,476 PG cases. As of 31st May 2026, the total pendency of PG cases on the CPGRAMS portal stands at 213,190 across all States and UTs, with 22 States/UTs having more than 1,000 pending PG cases each.
The system saw significant user engagement with 65,174 new users registering on CPGRAMS in May 2026 through various channels, of which 11,365 registrations were from Uttar Pradesh. The Feedback Call Centre collected a total of 78,830 feedbacks during the month, with 32,283 feedbacks specifically collected from States/UTs.
CPGRAMS integration with Common Service Centres has expanded its reach significantly, now available at more than 5 lakh CSCs associated with 2.5 lakh Village Level Entrepreneurs. In May 2026, 8,562 grievances were registered through Common Service Centres.
Under the Sevottam Scheme training initiative, substantial capacity building has occurred over the last five financial years. Between FY 2022-23 and FY 2026-27 (till 31st May), a total of 1,175 training courses were conducted, training approximately 38,693 officers. The year-wise breakdown shows 280 courses training 8,496 officers in 2022-23, 236 courses training 8,477 officers in 2023-24, 319 courses training 10,881 officers in 2024-25, 322 courses training 10,223 officers in 2025-26, and 18 courses training 616 officers in 2026-27 (partial year).
The report highlights several operational advancements including a dedicated Review Module operationalized from 6th June 2025 to facilitate senior-level review of PG cases in States/UTs. A significant technological advancement was marked by the launch of the CPGRAMS AI-Enabled Voice Chatbot, Samadhan Didi, by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon'ble Minister of State (PP), on 30 May 2026 at Kartavya Bhawan, New Delhi.
