Nationwide Digital Life Certificate campaigns are held annually from 1st to 30th November, using face authentication on smartphones, generating 1.15 crore DLCs via this method.
Total 1.90 crore DLCs were generated from April 1, 2025 to March 24, 2026, including 14.16 lakh for super senior pensioners above 80 years.
Banks are directed to ensure DLC submission for pension continuity, with India Post and Gramin Dak Sevaks assisting elderly and disabled pensioners.
