The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, has commenced Special Campaign 6.0 running from October 2 to October 31, 2026. The campaign aims to institutionalize Swachhata (cleanliness) and minimize pendency across all MSME ministry offices and attached organizations.

The campaign places special emphasis on effective collection, segregation and disposal of e-waste in accordance with prescribed guidelines, along with comprehensive cleanliness initiatives, space management, beautification of office premises, and disposal of scrap and redundant items. Additionally, the campaign focuses on record management and disposal of pending references, public grievances, appeals, and parliamentary assurances.

The Ministry organized a preparatory meeting on September 17, 2026 to sensitize officials about the campaign's objectives, timelines, and parameters, and to develop a coordinated action plan. Nodal Officers and Divisions/Sections of the Ministry have set specific targets and comprehensive Action Plans for implementation. The Ministry has particularly sensitized its attached organizations to ensure coordinated implementation, with special emphasis on field offices responsible for service delivery and public interface.

The campaign includes installation of standees for Special Campaign 6.0 at the Ministry's office in Kartavya Bhawan-3, New Delhi, and involves hybrid meetings with officers from the Ministry and its attached organizations for preparation. The Ministry remains committed to carrying forward the campaign's objectives through sustained efforts toward Swachhata, efficient disposal of pendency, and improved workplace environment.
