Tourism Ministry Unveils Swadesh Darshan 2.0 Reforms

The Ministry of Tourism has issued guidelines for Swadesh Darshan 2.0, establishing a National Institutional Framework and a digital Program Management Information System (PMIS).
A National Programme Management Unit (NPMU) has been set up to support states in project planning, bid management, and implementation of tourism projects.
The scheme encourages public-private partnerships for operation and maintenance, introducing a Tourism Experience Development and Management Agency (TEDMA) for sustainable management.
