Union Public Service Commission will release Provisional Answer Key for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2026 for the first time
Provisional Answer Key will be released soon after the examination
Candidates can submit representations until May 31, 2026, 6PM
Representations must be submitted through dedicated online portal "Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep)" at https://upsconline.nic.in/login
Candidates must indicate correct key as per their understanding with brief description and supporting documents from three authentic sources
All representations will be placed before team(s) of subject expert(s) for comprehensive review
Subject experts possess domain knowledge and subject expertise
Experts will examine each representation, assess supporting documents, and record views regarding correctness of Answer Key
Answer Key will be finalized only after due consideration of all representations received
Policy aims to make examination process more participative while upholding sanctity, integrity, and merit-based framework
Initiative addresses long-standing demand from candidates for publication of Provisional Answer Keys
