APAR Industries Limited has issued a reminder to shareholders holding shares in physical mode regarding mandatory KYC details updation requirements pursuant to SEBI Master Circular No. HO/38/13/(4)2026-MIRSD-POD/I/4298/2026 dated February 06, 2026 and SEBI Circular reference no. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2024/81 dated June 10, 2024.
Key Regulatory Requirements:
- With effect from April 01, 2024, dividends/interest will be withheld for security holders holding physical securities who have not updated mandatory KYC details including PAN, Choice of Nomination, Contact Details, Mobile Number, Bank Account Details, and Specimen Signature
- Dividends will be released only through electronic mode upon furnishing all required details in entirety
- For shareholders who updated details after April 01, 2024, any dividends declared during the interim period will be automatically credited to their registered bank account
- Email ID registration is optional but recommended for online services
Dematerialization Requirements:
- Transfer of shares in physical form has not been permitted since April 01, 2019
- SEBI has opened a special window from February 05, 2026 to February 04, 2027 for transfer and dematerialization of physical securities sold/purchased prior to April 01, 2019
- Securities transferred during this period will be credited only in demat mode and under lock-in for one year from transfer registration date
Process Details:
- Shareholders must provide mandatory KYC details to the Registrar and Share Transfer Agent (RTA) MUFG Intime India Private Limited
- Required forms (ISR-1, ISR-2, ISR-3, SH-13, SH-14) and SEBI circular are available on RTA website: https://www.in.mpms.mufg.com > Resources > Downloads > KYC > Formats for KYC
- For dematerialization, shareholders must open a demat account with any SEBI registered Depository Participant and submit required documents including original share certificates, demat request form, PAN copy, address proof, and cancelled cheque
- CBDT requires linking of PAN and Aadhaar as specified
