KYC Updation Requirements

HPCL has communicated to physical shareholders the mandatory requirement to update their KYC details as per SEBI circulars. The specific details requiring update include:

  • PAN (Permanent Account Number)
  • Specimen Signature
  • Mobile Number
  • Nominee Details
  • Email ID
  • Bank Account Details (for electronic dividend payments mandated from April 01, 2024)

The communication includes a table showing the current status of KYC details for each shareholder in the folio, indicating which fields are "Required" or "Not Registered" versus those that are already "Registered."

Bonus Shares Information

HPCL had allotted fully paid-up Bonus Shares in the ratio of 1:2 pursuant to member approval in June 2024. However, in compliance with SEBI's mandate effective from May 23, 2023 requiring bonus shares to be allotted only in dematerialized form, the company transferred bonus shares to a separate HPCL Escrow Demat Account for shareholders whose Demat account details were unavailable.

Shareholders are informed that a specific number of bonus shares are held in the HPCL Escrow Demat Account in their favor. To enable credit of these shares to their Demat account, shareholders must submit:

  • Form ISR-4 duly filled and signed
  • Copy of latest (not more than two months old) Client Master List (CML) of their Demat Account
  • The CML must be verified by the Depository Participant either with digital signature OR with stamp and signature
