National Fertilizers Limited received Notice no. NSE/L1ST-SOP/COMB/FINES/0954 dated 25.08.2026 from National Stock Exchange of India Limited regarding non-compliance with:

Board Meeting Deliberations
The notice was placed before the Board of Directors in its meeting held on 08.09.2026. The Board noted that the company had already made a request to both NSE and BSE to:
- Withdraw the notices
- Waive off the fine
The company's explanation stated that it "did not have any control on the appointment of Independent Directors."

After detailed deliberations, the Board observed that the company should again take up the matter with the Department of Fertilizers (DoF) for:
- Appointment of adequate number of Independent Directors
- Achieving compliance with Listing Regulations
