The Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth and Sports, headed by Shri Digvijaya Singh, M.P., Rajya Sabha, presented its 380th Report to the Hon'ble Chairman of Rajya Sabha on June 16, 2026. This report concerns Action Taken by Government on the Recommendations/Observations contained in the committee's previous 368th Report, which reviewed the functioning of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and initiatives taken to support teacher training in light of the National Education Policy 2020's thrust on Capacity Building of Teachers. The Action Taken Report pertains specifically to the Department of School Education and Literacy within the Ministry of Education.
