Pentad Securities Fined for TradeTron Algo Platform Violations

SEBI imposes a penalty of Rs. 1 lakh on Pentad Securities for violating SEBI circular by associating with TradeTron algo platform.
Pentad integrated its API with TradeTron after SEBI's prohibition, paying Rs. 50,000 plus GST for integration in March 2023.
The adjudication order finds Pentad violated SEBI circular and brokers' regulations, imposing a penalty of Rs. 1,00,000.
