SEBI Appoints K.V.R. Murty as Whole Time Member

SEBI announced Shri K.V.R. Murty took charge as Whole Time Member on April 15, 2026.
Murty was previously Additional Controller General of Defence Accounts and brings over three decades of experience.
His background includes policy making in corporate laws and adjudicating mergers for government companies.
He has served as a Part-Time Government Nominee on the boards of SEBI, NFRA, ICAI, ICSI, and ICMAI.
