The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, New Delhi, has been selected for the "Rajbhasha Utkrishtta Sammaan" for the year 2025-26 by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs. This recognition is awarded for outstanding work and continuous excellent performance in the implementation of the Official Language. The department had previously been honored with the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar (First) for two consecutive years—2023-24 and 2024-25. This year, the department secured first position again for its excellent performance in Official Language implementation. According to standard rules, if a Ministry/Department receives the first prize for two consecutive years, it is not awarded the Puruskar in the subsequent year. However, due to the department's consistent outstanding work in the field of Official Language for several years, it was selected for this special recognition to acknowledge its continuous excellence. The Rajbhasha Utkrishtta Sammaan will be presented during the Hindi Diwas Sammelan scheduled for September 14, 2026, in Navi Mumbai on the occasion of Hindi Diwas.
