ARCI researchers developed a cost-effective spinel nanocomposite phase change material for thermal energy storage.
Adding 1% spinel oxide nanoparticles increased specific heat capacity by 45% compared to base PCM.
The material enables smaller storage tanks, reducing capital and operational costs for clean energy applications.
