Shri Krishna Devaraya Sainik School Inaugurated in Karnataka

Union Ministers H.D. Kumaraswamy and Sanjay Seth inaugurated the Shri Krishna Devaraya Sainik School in Sindhanur, Karnataka, as part of a national expansion of the Sainik School network.
The government has approved 86 new Sainik Schools under a PPP model, targeting 100 schools, with over 18,000 cadets currently enrolled in the existing system.
Defence exports reached a record high of ₹38,424 crore, marking a growth of over 62%, reflecting growth in India's indigenous defence capabilities.
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) has expanded its capacity to 20 lakh cadets, and the number of girl cadets in Sainik Schools is growing.
