Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will visit Keralam on June 23, 2026, to participate in a series of sports and fitness promotion events. The minister will begin with 'Cycling by the Sea', a cycling event from Chackai ITI to Shankumugham Beach in Thiruvananthapuram, organized to promote Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Fit India Movement vision and encourage active lifestyles. Dr. Mandaviya will also visit G.V. Raja Sports School in Mylom, recognized as one of the country's renowned sports institutions that has contributed numerous athletes to Indian sports, reflecting the government's emphasis on grassroots sports development. The visit concludes with the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Fun Run Event at Kerala University Stadium, which forms part of outreach activities for the 2026 Asian Games and coincides with International Olympic Day celebrations, expecting over 40,000 participants including students, athletes, youth volunteers, and members of the public.
