Sri Lankan Delegation Studies India's Jal Jeevan and Swachh Bharat Missions

A high-level Sri Lankan parliamentary delegation visited India's Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation to study the Jal Jeevan and Swachh Bharat Missions.
Indian officials presented on the Jal Jeevan Mission, which has increased rural tap water coverage from 17% to 82% with a budget of $92 billion.
The delegation discussed challenges in water treatment and sought collaboration on affordable solutions for water and sanitation management.
