Incident Overview
A Ukrainian drone strike ignited a fire at Wildberries' major distribution centre in Koledino, a key hub serving the Moscow region. The blaze was one of several reported incidents, including fires at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Domodedovo and an unidentified industrial facility in Voskresensk. Three individuals sustained injuries at the Wildberries site.

Moscow regional governor Andrey Vorobyev stated that air‑defence systems shot down or suppressed 187 drones across the region overnight. Concurrently, Russia’s defence ministry announced a record interception of 822 Ukrainian drones nationwide during the same period.
Wider Conflict Context
The Wildberries attack forms part of an intensified campaign targeting logistics and industrial infrastructure. Since mid‑July, at least 20 Wildberries warehouses have been struck. Russian forces also launched missiles and drones against Ukrainian cities including Kyiv, Odesa, Kremenchuk, and Kryvyi Rih. Ukraine’s air force reported that Kyiv, Kremenchuk and Kryvyi Rih were hit by ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones, with air‑defences intercepting three cruise missiles and 85 drones across 13 strike locations.
Industrial Damage and Casualties
Russia claimed strikes on military‑industrial sites in Kyiv, the Kremenchuk oil refinery, and ArcelorMittal’s mining and steel complex in Kryvyi Rih. The main energy and blast‑furnace facility at the ArcelorMittal complex was damaged, halting production, according to RBC‑Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported two fatalities and 14 injuries in the Kryvyi Rih strike, an additional death in the northern Sumy region, and six injuries in Kyiv and surrounding areas.
Additional Claims
Russia’s defence ministry alleged that attack drones struck a bulk carrier transporting military equipment for Ukraine at the port of Odesa, a claim that could not be independently verified.
