Regulatory Approval Disclosure
Canara Bank has received approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to exercise call option on its Basel III Compliant Additional Tier I Bonds.
The RBI approval was granted via letter reference DOR.CAP.S4776/21-01-002/2026-27 dated September 15, 2026. The approval covers call option exercise on bonds with ISIN INE476A08126 with a total amount of ₹1,500 Crore.
The approval is subject to the terms of issue and all applicable laws and regulations. The bank has confirmed it is in the process of exercising the call option as per the terms of issuance.
