SEBI Censures Streetgains Research for Assured Returns, Mis-selling

SEBI's final order censures Streetgains Research Services for assuring returns, mis-selling, and advertising past performance on social media.
The order follows an inspection that found multiple violations of Research Analyst and PFUTP regulations during the April 2022 to March 2024 period.
The Noticee, Streetgains Research Services, was issued a regulatory censure, while a separate adjudication had already imposed an INR 8 lakh penalty.
The Designated Authority's recommendation for a one-month ban on new clients was not imposed by the final order.
